Have you heard the phrase on brand? Have you been told that you need to be on brand? That’s pretty common advice given to entrepreneurs and coaches these days.
Today, it just hit me. Honestly, I can’t believe I didn’t notice this saying before, and how stupid it is.
I’m not a brand.
I’m a human being.
I’m ridiculously complex.
I’m full of contradictions.
And questions, lovely questions.
I’m every color in the rainbow inside.
I have so many layers
I have millions of interests and interesting thoughts.
I’m silly. I’m serious. I’m insightful. I’m wrong. I’m generous. I’m harsh. I’m quick and I’m slow. I listen, but I’m not a follower. And so much more.
I am constantly changing – my mind, my direction, my tastes, my priorities.
I think in all of the colors of the rainbow.
I am not a brand. I don’t have to be on brand. Ever.
I am an onion – a rainbow onion.
So are you.
In the meantime, remember these things: You are loved. We are all loved. Let’s all be kind. And in all things – progress, not perfection!
Love and light,
Maggie

I have created a short online course How to Choose a Color to Work With Right Now (yep, that’s the link) that explains the messages of 16 important colors. It pairs quite nicely with the book, The Rainbow Onion, if I do say so myself….mostly because it’s got visuals and audio.
I’m coaching again. If you are interested, Set up a call here. and we can see if it’s a fit for us to work together.
