I do not even know where to start with this last week…
So many things happened. So many miracles. So much confusion. So much energy. So much sadness. So much joy. So many deadlines and decisions to make. So much to explore. So much so much so much.
I haven’t had a so much life since March 2020. I mean, I’ve had times – we all have – when there was a lot happening, a lot to be done, a lot that needed our attention. But I really haven’t had so much energy come at me so fast in a long time.
I’d heard about the full moon energy of Pisces, but wow, did the universe take it seriously this time! So much dropped in at once – no, make that flew in at once…and not just for me, for everyone in my family, and I suspect for many people in the world.
It was overwhelming – and I don’t overwhelm easily. But every emotion came at me and out of me in a rolling, breaking tsunami.
Being out of shape for this kind of intensity, I had to remember what to do when it’s all so fast and intense.
Some of the tools in my toolbox were dusty, crusty or rusty. So I had to consciously dig them out and clean them up.
I discovered that I don’t need lots of tools, just a few good ones.
These are the ones I picked:
- Meditating
- Breathing
- Grounding with trees
- Swimming
- My sister led us through some Qi Gong flows.
I did notice that the tools I chose were not buffering tools (like food, alcohol, tv or other escapes) but grounding tools. I don’t want to escape, I want to ground and rest so I can be fully present. That’s a bit different from how I would have reacted in the before times. Good to notice.
What about you? What are you experiencing? What are your go-to tools? Are they different? Let us know in the comments!
In the meantime, remember these things: You are loved. We are all loved. Let’s all be kind. And in all things – progress, not perfection!
Love and light,
Maggie
